Job Type: Part-Time – 10–20 hours per week (including weekends and evenings)
Pay Rate: £12.50 per hour PAYE.

Role Overview

We are seeking Sauna Hosts to join our team at Luna Hut Sauna Café, located on Beaconsfield Road, Brighton. This role will focus on overseeing and managing the multi-sauna experience in our Sauna Garden, ensuring guests enjoy a relaxing and seamless wellness experience.

As part of your role, you'll also receive cross-training in café front of house (FOH) and barista duties, giving you the opportunity to be a versatile member of the team. When needed, you will assist the café team with welcoming guests, preparing drinks, and helping to create a warm, inviting atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

Sauna Host Duties (Primary Role)

  • Oversee and manage multiple saunas in the Sauna Garden, ensuring the temperature, cleanliness, and overall atmosphere are maintained.

  • Welcome guests to the sauna garden, provide guidance, and ensure they understand the sauna process and safety protocols.

  • Maintain cleanliness and safety in and around the sauna areas.

  • Monitor guest experience, ensuring comfort and addressing any issues promptly.

  • Provide clear communication and excellent service, offering guidance when guests are using the saunas

  • Ensure that sauna equipment is stocked and maintained.

Cross-Training & Café Front of House Duties

  • Assist the café team by providing front-of-house support during peak times.

  • Help prepare and serve beverages, including coffee and teas, while maintaining high-quality standards.

  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere both in the café and sauna areas.

  • Support the team in maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming café environment.

Health & Safety Compliance

  • Ensure full compliance with health and safety standards, particularly in the sauna environment.

  • Conduct routine checks of sauna equipment, ensuring everything is functioning properly.

  • Respond quickly to any emergencies or guest concerns, following all safety protocols.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Experience in hospitality, wellness, or customer service (sauna or wellness experience a bonus).

  • Friendly, approachable, and calm demeanor, especially in a wellness-focused environment.

  • Ability to multitask and move between sauna hosting and café duties with ease.

  • A keen interest in wellness and creating positive guest experiences.

  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
