Job Type: Part-time (1-2 days per week, between Thursday and Sunday)
Pay Rate: £12.50 per hour

The Role
We are looking for local, reliable individuals to join our team as Sauna Hosts at Luna Hut, Splashpoint in Worthing. This is a hands-on role, requiring physical work, early starts in all weather, and a welcoming, customer-focused attitude.
A standard shift lasts up to 7 hours, and weekend availability is required.
This role suits someone who enjoys working outdoors, interacting with people, and embracing the wellness benefits of sauna culture. You’ll be part of an exciting and growing movement, helping people integrate sauna use into their wellbeing routine.
Key Responsibilities
Sauna Setup & Maintenance:
Light and prepare the sauna each morning (some shifts require 6:30 am starts).
Ensure the stove reaches and maintains the correct temperature, recording hourly readings.
Move firewood from storage to the sauna.
Carry water for drinking dispensers and sauna use.
Keep the sauna area tidy and organised throughout the day.
Customer Service & Experience:
Welcome customers, provide a brief health & safety introduction.
Ensure customers follow sauna guidelines and maintain a positive atmosphere.
Assist guests by adding steam, offering sauna hats, and answering questions.
Manage session timings and ensure smooth transitions between bookings.
Respond to customer queries via phone and online (e.g., late arrivals, directions).
Marketing & Engagement:
Upload Instagram stories from your shift to promote the sauna.
Answer enquiries from interested passers-by and explain the booking process.
End-of-Day Responsibilities:
Clean and close down the sauna at the end of the shift.
Skills & Experience Required
-Essential:
Local to Worthing.
Available for weekend shifts and flexible hours (including early mornings and evenings).
Punctual, reliable, and able to work independently.
A friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude.
Good communication skills and an awareness of people’s needs.
Physically capable of working in a hot environment, lifting firewood, and carrying water.
Comfortable handling a wood-burning stove.
-Desirable (but not essential):
First Aid and/or Open Water Lifeguard qualifications.
Knowledge or personal experience of sauna benefits.
